Clan System
Overview
Clans are player alliances that connect multiple realms (tiles) under a shared name, flag, and leadership. Clans coordinate warfare, territory defense, and identity. This page explains how clans are created, how tiles join, leadership rules, flags, and the in‑game interfaces.
Key Terms
Clan: An on‑chain group with a unique name, one Leader Land, and up to 30 member lands.
Leader Land: The land that created the clan; it holds special privileges (e.g., disbanding the clan, setting the clan flag).
Member Land: Any land that has joined the clan via an invite/accept flow.
Clan Hall (Building): A building placed on a land's interior map; used as the hub for clan actions in the UI. A Clan Hall at the leader land is required to set the clan flag.
Creating a Clan
Requirements
You must own a land (be the on‑chain occupant of that tile).
The clan name must be available (unique on-chain).
You must pay a creation cost of 100,000 LOP (%100 burn).
Steps (UI)
Open the Clan Hall panel on your land (or place a Clan Hall first, if you haven’t).
Enter a clan name and click Create Clan (100,000 LOP).
Approve the token allowance prompt (LOP → Clan Contract) when asked.
Confirm the on-chain createClan transaction.
Upon success:
Your current land becomes the Leader Tile (stored on-chain).
⚠️ The creation transaction will fail if: the name is already taken, you don’t own the tile, or the allowance/LOP balance is insufficient.
Joining a Clan (Invites)
Lands join clans by invitation, and the acceptance is per‑land.
How invites are tracked
Each land has a single pending invite slot.
Accepting or refusing an invite
In the Home panel, if your land has an invite, you’ll see a banner like:
“You have a pending invite from clan ”
Choose Accept or Refuse:
Accept: Your land becomes a clan member (if capacity allows).
Refuse: Clearing the invite.
Membership limits & checks
Capacity: Maximum 30 members per clan. If full, acceptance is rejected and the pending invite is cleared.
Ownership check: Only the current land owner can accept/refuse.
Same‑clan attack restriction: Lands in the same clan cannot attack each other (enforced in war rules).
Tip: You can query or list all clans via the List All Clans button in the Clan Hall panel.
Leadership & Disbanding
The Leader Land is the land that created the clan.
Certain actions are leader‑only and must be initiated from the leader tile:
Disband Clan
Set Clan Flag (see next section)
Disbanding a clan
Open the Clan Hall on the leader land.
Click Disband Clan and confirm the on-chain transaction.
All memberships are cleared; the clan ceases to exist.
Attempting to disband from a non‑leader tile will fail with an error.
Clan Flag (NFT)
Clans can set a visual flag using a compatible NFT.
Requirements
Action must be performed by the leader from the leader land.
The leader tile must have a Clan Hall building.
You must pay 10,000 LOP to set/change the flag (approval needed).
The NFT must be from Kilopi NFT Market — Collection ID 1.
Steps (UI)
From the leader tile’s Clan Hall, click Set Clan Flag.
The game fetches your owned NFTs and filters to Collection ID 1.
Choose an NFT and confirm:
Approve 10,000 LOP allowance to the clan contract.
The flag updates for your clan.
If you have no eligible NFT, use the provided link to visit the Kilopi NFT Marketplace.
Clan Hall (Building) — What it does
Serves as the UI hub for clan actions on a tile:
Create a clan (if not in a clan yet).
View clan name, leader coordinates, member count.
Set Clan Flag (leader only, on leader land).
Disband Clan (leader only, on leader land).
List All Clans to browse public clan info.
You can right‑click the Clan Hall on the interior map to open the Clan panel.
While the Clan Hall is the interaction hub, the on‑chain checks (leadership, coordinates, capacity) ultimately gate each action.
Best Practices
Reserve your name early: Names are unique; availability is enforced on-chain.
Place a Clan Hall on the leader land: Required for visual identity (flag) and quick management.
Coordinate membership: Keep a buffer below the 30‑member cap to accept high‑value lands quickly.
FAQ
Q: Can I leave a clan without disbanding it? A: Yes, only for members. No for the Leader. ( Required 1000 LOP )
Q: Do clan members share buildings or resources automatically? A: No. Buildings and stockpiles remain per‑land. Members coordinate via war, trade (Marketplace), and resource sending.
Q: Can I attack lands in my clan? A: No—same‑clan attacks are blocked.
